Stop spending Sunday
working out who has not paid
Dues charge themselves on the day they fall due. Failures retry, then chase. You hear about the ones that need a human, and nothing else.

The folder, the spreadsheet and the chasing
Most gyms under a few hundred members run on a spreadsheet, a bank statement and a memory for faces. It works until the month it does not, and what it costs you is money you already earned and never collected.
Every membership carries its price, its interval and its next due date. The system raises the invoice, takes the money and writes down what happened — the same way every month, whether or not anybody was watching.

They enter a card once
A member saves a card in their own portal. It is stored with Stripe, never on our servers. We hold a reference, not a card number — so a breach here does not expose anybody's payment details.
Renewals charge against it automatically. A failure is retried on a schedule, and if it keeps failing the member gets emailed before you have to say anything.

You should find out that the money arrived. Not that it didn't, three weeks later, from a member who is embarrassed about it.
We take 0% of what your members pay you
Plenty of gym platforms process your payments themselves and take a margin on top of what the card networks charge. It is quiet money, it scales with your success, and it usually is not on the pricing page.
Card payments here go straight into your own Stripe account at Stripe's own published rates. We are not in the middle of it. We do not hold a float, we do not set a payout schedule, and there is never a balance of yours sitting with us.
Work out what a one or two percent margin costs a gym turning over twenty thousand a month. It is more than our most expensive plan. That is the comparison worth doing before you compare monthly subscription prices.
What we actually charge
A warning, not a debt letter
Members get emailed before a bill falls due, not after it is overdue. A card about to expire is flagged while there is still time to change it.
Small thing, and it removes most of the awkward conversations at the counter — because the member already knew.

Refunds and chargebacks, properly
A refund issued here reaches the actual card through Stripe and is written into the ledger in the same movement. Not marked refunded in one place and forgotten in the other.
Chargebacks are recorded when they are raised and reversed when you win them, so your revenue figures survive a dispute instead of quietly losing a month.

Paid into your account, not ours
Because the money never passes through us, your payment history is yours. If you leave, it leaves with you — it is already in your own Stripe account and always was.
That is not generosity. It is the correct arrangement, and plenty of platforms do it the other way round.

The shelf by the till is on the same ledger
Chalk, tape, shakers, shirts. Sell them at the desk and the sale lands in the same books as the memberships, against the same member, on the same day.
Stock comes down as it sells, so the count on the screen is the count on the shelf — until somebody takes one without saying. That is a different problem, and at least this tells you it happened.
Every way money changes hands
Memberships are the bulk of it. These are the rest, on the same ledger, so the totals are the real totals.
